DRI - Direct-fired rotary kiln
Made by: Riedhammer GmbH, in Industrial Kilns, Calciners
Direct fired rotary kilns are ideal for the calcination of materials that are not sensitive to products of combustion. The burner firing directly into the tube gives a very high heat transfer rate. Materials can be fed to the DRI as a pellet or a slurry.Key Features:
- Rotary tube lengths from 3 to 26 meters (10 to 85 feet)
- Inside tube diameters from 0.3 to 1.5 meters (1 to 5 feet)
- Rotary tube internally insulated with firebricks for long life
- Maximum temperature to 1450°C (2642°F)
- Fuel fired with natural gas or LPG
Applications:
- Technical Ceramics
- Advanced Materials
- Advanced Batteries
