/wp-content/uploads/products/rh/DRI.jpg Direct fired rotary kilns are ideal for the calcination of materials that are not sensitive to products of combustion. The burner firing directly into the tube gives a very high heat transfer rate.  Materials can be fed to the DRI as a pellet or a slurry.

Key Features:
  • Rotary tube lengths from 3 to 26 meters (10 to 85 feet)
  • Inside tube diameters from 0.3 to 1.5 meters (1 to 5 feet)
  • Rotary tube internally insulated with firebricks for long life
  • Maximum temperature to 1450°C (2642°F)
  • Fuel fired with natural gas or LPG
